Theme day Thursday

Hello Ladies, Welcome back.  Today is Theme Day Thursday at My Cricut craft Room. Today we are to use something Peachy Keen. For my card today I made a Center step card.  I used Create a Critter cartridge for my cuts today.  For the Owl I cut it out at 3" also cutting it in the shadow function. I also cut the little branches from create a critter then  I stamped the cute little owl with PK493 Everyday character face for the eyes and for the beak I used PK-754 critter faces. My "you're a hoot" stamp is from My Pink Stamper Punny-licious.  Here is my card.

WYEG Wednesday at My Cricut Craft Room!

For today's project I created a Gate Fold card. I believe this is the first time I have made this style of card.  Now that it is done I wish I would have embossed the panels or something...it looks really really plain.  My next gate fold will be fancy.  LOL  I used Paper Doll Dress Up and Potpourri Basket Bonus.  I used the angel wings from paperdoll dress up and turned them into butterflies.  I used the shadow feature and cut two different sizes to create the butterfly.  For the side panels I used a dark purple with a cream colored overlay (it looks really white in the picture) I used my purple cats eye to color or smudge the sides of the cream overlay added the inside paper to match a ribbon and card was complete. I cut the scalloped center from Potpourri Basket Bonus feature. Then used The Paper Studio punch for the purple center.  Thanks for stopping by  Hope you like!

Card Creating Tuesday with "My Cricut Craft Room"

Hi Everyone
 Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
Today's post as part of My Cricut Craft Room Design Team is
Card Creating Tuesday
The theme today is:
 "Valentine's Day Card"
This card was created using the
Sweethearts Cartridge
For the base of the card I used a scrap piece I had laying around --probably from last Valentines Day!! I purchased a new roll of ribbon from Michael's and used a piece on both ends of the card (the hearts going down ).  I then cut out the couple in black and the words you & me from the Sweethearts cart. The heart is a die cut from My creative time stamped with the words Love love love.  Happy Valentines Day is also a stamp from My creative time.  I thought it turned out really simple but cute!! LOL

Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentines Day

Valentine's Day

Hello everyone

Busy weekend but I did manage to work on some things for Valentine's Day for my son Lucas for School
He needed a valentine box for school Tuesday. "Dino LOVE" Hope you like it!   He loved it!!!

I purchased the box from Michaels and covered it with DCWV paper "Gone Wild pack"  the dino and the word Love  is from Create a Critter and "Dino" is from Feeling Groovy.  The hearts around the edge  is a piece of ribbon that I bought from Michaels

Thanks for stopping!

Valentine Card

Hi All

Here is a Valentine Card I am working on for my son to give to his classmates.  Boy is it hard to come up with a boy card.  Trying not to make it into a girl card.

I used Create a Critter for the Dinosaur cut at 2.5 and used the scalloped circle die cutand stamp set from My creative time with Emma.

MY Cricut Craft Room Letter of the Day

Hi everyone Happy Monday!!  For today's project I created a Groovy Birthday Card using nothing else but the "Feeling Groovy Cartridge"

This card took me way back to the "Brady Bunch" & "The Dating Game".
The flowers & letters were all cut all from Feeling Groovy Cart
added a few stickles

The inside of the card I used Martha Stewart Drippy Goo edge punch --I think I will add a printed phrase
something like this " Happy Birthday !! Hope you have a Fabulous, Fantastic, Fun Filled Day"  Just because it is the letter F day!

Please go back to My Cricut Craft Room  to see all the other projects designed by some fantastic ladies!

Now on to my post

I am so excited to welcome you to my first 100 Cartridge blog hop being part of the My Cricut Craftroom design team.  You should have come from  Teresa's blog.  If not, please start at the beginning here .   If you have never done the 100 cartridge blog hop before let me explain a little.  The design team from My Cricut Craftroom creates projects using at least 100 different Cricut Cartridges.  You may see projects made with some of the same cartridges, but there will be 100 different cartridges used throughout this hop!    For my first blog hop I have chosen to use Playtime, Celebrations and Feeling Groovy to make this Birthday Banner for a friends 40th Birthday.

For this banner I used a dark purple cardstock for the base (my picture makes it look a little blue to me). Paper was from Americana Cardstock pack. Using my Gypsy the base was cut out 5.20 x 7 from the Preserves Cartridge tag feature. The Second Layer was from Playtime Cartridge (scalloped) and was cut at 4.65. The number 40 was cut from the Celebrations Cartridge cut at 2.69
I used my cuttlebug to emboss the number 40 and present with the "happy birthday folder".  I also added candles to the top of each one which will total 40 candles.  Candles were cut from the Celebrations cart at 2.69" I either embossed or glittered the candles.  It's kinda hard to see with this pic!!

Here's a closer look
I cut out a few things like a cupcake, purses, high heels, martini glass, from celebrations, everyday paperdoll, sweetheart & From my Kitchen. She's a purse and shoe gal LOL!  Can't have too many! I also stamped a few fancy lady's using "My Creative Time" stamps.  The banner reads "Happy 40th Ang" Letters were cut at 3.60" using the Feeling Groovy Cartridge, I made sure I used the shadow feature for the letters and used a darker shade -- used pop dots actually alot of pop dots which made everything POP.

Sorry my pictures didnt come out too well.  It looks alot better in person LOL

Hope you like!!  Thanks for stopping by!
Just wanted to add----these are the cake pops my sister and I made for the celebration..  Chocolate cake-covered in chocolate candy melts---decorated with purple candy melts with the # 40 and some swirls.
Your next stop is Tiffany

Here is the entire line up for today --hope you enjoy!!
